Richard Tesauro
Richard A. Tesauro contributed to Coscend Communications Solutions during its incubation phase by executing strategic initiatives.

Richard is a former Senior Partner of Ernst & Young.  He is the President and Founder of Tesauro Management Counselors.

Richard has over 40 years of broad, top-level management and business experience centered on planning and maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of organizations and people.  His consulting passion is strategy, organization, people, diagnosis and repair.  Over time, Richard has also evolved as the Trusted Business Advisor for many, long-term clients.  Richard’s 25 years of management consulting experience include planning, organizational alignment and design, organizational transformations, transition management, human resources, and general management consulting as an Ernst & Young Partner, a Metzler & Associates Partner and shareholder, and President of TMC.  He initiated and built Ernst & Young regional consulting practices in the Southeast and Southwest.  Richard’s successful corporate career included both line and staff management positions with General Motors Corporation and Bundy Corporation.

Richard was Ernst & Young's leading specialist in organizational effectiveness, transformation management and strategic planning, having worked with many of Ernst & Young's largest and most prestigious clients in the United States.  He also had extensive executive compensation and benefits consulting experience.  At Metzler & Associates, a utilities industry management consulting firm, he developed the Metzler & Associates strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness consulting practice.  Richard has served in both line and staff management positions with General Motors Corporation and Bundy Corporation.  At Bundy Corporation, he served as Corporate Personnel Manager, Division Personnel and O.D. Manager, and Division Staff Services Manager.  He started his business career at the Ternstedt Division of General Motors.  There he gained plant manufacturing and salaried personnel experience before being transferred to the General Motors' corporate staff.  As a corporate staff, he served as Benefits Plan Administrator, Corporate Recruiter and, finally, a member of General Motors' Labor Relations Staff.

He has taught at the university level and has been a guest speaker for numerous professional and industrial groups.  Richard holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University.  He has attended Executive Program at J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
